ItaloWorld Meetup is a community event focused on celebrating and exploring Italian culture and language. It provides a platform for cultural exchange, social interaction, and language practice.


Our Meetup events are open to everyone interested in Italian culture, regardless of their background or proficiency in the Italian language.


No, you don't need to speak Italian. Our events cater to all language levels, from beginners to fluent speakers.


The events are held every Saturday from 2.00pm to 5.30pm.

All Meetup events for the balance of 2024 will be held at the Broadbeach Library from 2.00pm to 3.30pm followed by a social gathering at The Patio, Pacific Fair. Please note that the venue offers plenty of free parking.


No membership or attendance fee but food and beverages are available on a user-pay basis.


Activities include presentations on various aspects of Italian culture, informal language practice, socialising, and enjoying Italian cuisine.


Absolutely. Guests are welcome and encouraged to join and experience the vibrant Italian culture.

Yes, our events are family-friendly, and we encourage attendees of all ages to participate and learn about Italian culture together. To date we have had attendees as young as 3 and as old as 94.


Yes, volunteers are always appreciated. You can help with event coordination, promotion, and other activities. You could even suggest and organise special events.

Yes, these Meetups provide a casual environment to practice Italian conversation with fellow attendees.


There are a variety of different types of restaurants adjacent to The Patio.  Italian restaurant Modo Mio is located at the bottom of the stairs that lead from The Patio.


Each event typically lasts for approximately 3.5 hours from 2.00pm to 5.30pm, but you are free to choose which sections of the event you wish to participate in.

There is no specific dress code; however, we encourage attendees to dress comfortably and appropriately for a social gathering.
